Campanula poscharskyana 'Stella'

Serbian bellflower, Trailing bellflower

Campanula poscharskyana 'Stella' forms a neat, low mound of green leaves with serrated edges, covered in summer with masses of star-shaped violet-blue flowers. It spreads rapidly by underground runners and will grow in paving cracks and crevices. A good ground cover plant, but needs monitoring to prevent it spreading too widely and becoming a nuisance.
